IMPORTANT — Tax Filings/Extensions with payment due, Do Not Wait Until the 15th

Generally, we are seeing more taxes are due by ALL TAX PAYERS than in past years. If you owe taxes, and plan to pay via electronic payment from your bank, checking account, or investment funds, DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST DAY!

Banking System Is Overflowing Busy and Slow

We have our suspicions on why, but the reason is not important, only our action as tax payers. Please do not wait until the last-minute to pay your taxes if you are paying electronically. The system is bogged down and you may end up with a late fee.

One thing that might be worse than paying additional taxes is getting a penalty because the system is so bogged down. Pay early so you will not have to worry about it.

If you are paying by check, NOT TO WORRY, it’s the post office problem, and an appropriately dated stamp puts you in the safe house.  You may even consider paying via check if it is easy for you to do.

Sorry to end the week with a warning call, but we call it the way we see it to try to help all of us save. Checks safe, electronic payments need to be paid early.
