On the way back home … Long weekend … Labor Day Monday !

In concluding a fantastic start to a more “Normal” travel season…. It is super to report from just a little less than a year ago…. Things are well, returning to normal….

As you read this, the travels are in action and the flight is back south to home for a long weekend…

So great to visit, so great to feel more normal… YAY

Next week is a short week as we unofficially start the early fall season.

Ahhh…but that is next week and today is a Friday heading into a Labor Day Holiday extended weekend….

Enjoy and spend time with those important in your life… Talk mid next week!

Friday Labor Day Weekend – Office Hours – Hurricane Harvey wishes

This coming Labor Day Holiday Monday represents the unofficial end of summer to some, my gang, as mentioned last week feel freedom was lost this week, with school starting this most recent Monday.

  • Homework, homework, homework
  • Shorter lighted days — yikes

BUT… are you ready for fall sports !

Capital Markets, as well as our office, will be closed on Monday, in honor of labor day.

Hurricane Harvey

We are sending our best wishes to all those friends, families and clients displace by Hurricane Harvey! We are happy to report Donald “The Brain” has had minimal damage up to this point and is safe and sound. We do have relatives and friends back in the new path and wish them safety and well being…

Given the devastation it looks to be years of rebuilding. Many blessings and well wishes!

Once again a test of the resilience of our country that will certainly be endured but will be collaborative as we regroup and rebuild!

As the Labor Day weekend nears all eyes are focused on Big Ben and any secrets he may let slide out the door as the Jackson Hole meetings transpire. Many, present party not included, are wishful for more cowbell/stimulus.  Only time will tell what crumbs fall to us minions for future tea leaf review.

On a much brighter note, (pardon the pun) the Dungeon as we have named our conference room now has a speckle of outside light that shines in, thanks to our new renovations and remodeling.

Speaking of long weekends, Cathy will be out on Friday leaving the phones unmanned. Our thought are that many others will be as well.
