Auto Makers Front and Center:

The big three automakers will soon be presenting their case before the country. We suspect they will be much better prepaired this time than they were a few weeks back.

After being called out about flying each’s private jet to the meeting several weeks back, each executive is either flying commercial, or traveling using their respective company vehicle.

We favor a bailout of the automakers due to the enormous jobs that are on the line, by some estimates several million jobs either directly or indirectly from the large manufacturers.  Given the weakness of our current economy a bailout with discussions of profitablility and streamlined processes in the future when fear is less prevalant is our choice.

We hope lawmakers are on the same side as us, as a no on the bailout for the automakers will have great negative implications, many of which are unknown at this time. JK
