In a somewhat lighter mid week story, wanted to share an interesting item we heard earlier this week that may make you chuckle, go hmmm or even get frustrated… but worth sharing…
The Set Up – We are going to use AI for efficiency and cost cutting:
A large very powerful entity that has to pay for services (holding the sector mute, but you can likely easily figure it out) with an underlying goal of making sure everything is coded correctly before payment (maybe even wishing not to pay) built out a sophisticate AI interface to run the bills through in order to sort the coding and deny any missed coded items…
It worked great and provided the goal of efficiency, less payments and faster processing BUT …
The Rebuttal and rub of the situation:
The entity wanting payment is also large and powerful. Care to guess what they did in response?
You guessed it, built out their own AI system to rebut the alleged or accurate mistaken codes….
So where are we now?
Two large entities, with AI working against each other to process their respective wishes….. not sure on the outcome or productivity of this!
