As earnings season/90 day treadmill has official finished, capital market participants turn their attention to Economic numbers for clues to the future.
The last several weeks have been uneventful in the capital markets as the majority of quarterly reported earnings have been made by public companies, and investors begin focusing their attention on the Economic reports generated by the various government agencies.
Dull capital markets are fine by us as digestion of the transition from government stimulus to walking on our own continues and mild capital markets may be less distracting to participants.
As we close in on the end of March, a reminder that this is the end of a quarter, and often times there may be extra upward pressure on the capital markets as participants stretch to maximize their 90 day reported numbers.
