Thank all of you for great questions concerning the TDAmeritrade Charles Schwab merger, again happening over Labor Day Weekend, September 5, 2023!
As usual, you guys (clients) have done a spectacular job of asking terrific questions… In a hunch that many may also have similar questions, we wanted to go over the repeats here for everyone… thanks again!
- This merger effects our (J.K. Financial, Inc and the Gang and You) in no way! We are not going anywhere and have all the same capabilities… yay.
- While you may have received emails, paperwork and correspondence (legal stuff), there may be more… NO ACTION needed! yay
- This was only a merger of two financial companies (vendors to be exact i.e. Platforms for handling financial assets), not instigated by us.
- A new on line portal will be used and new account numbers issued (bet you cannot name either of these of the top of your head now? being silly, but serious too!) We will be all over everyone on theses as they are made available…
- Monthly deposits and draws will remain the same and all instructions will be the same! yay
- Of course there may be hiccups, there always are, but as you guys know, we are on it and will get any problems fixed .. FAST!
As a side and likely comforting note, this week we began seeing accounts from both sides of the table….. not taking anything for granted and very pleased with the process!
Ahhhh….but today is a Friday, heading into another Wonderful Weekend… take time to enjoy and breath the fresh air if the feelings fit!
