While much of our talks here are informational and frankly explaining items we find that are not completely clear from other sources …. This venue also serves as a public diary of sorts … writing them forces clarity, organization, and proper form…. With this in mind… here are some interesting findings from the Whirlwind conference mentioned here…
Fun findings –
This conference was smaller (but plenty of attendees – almost all break outs were standing room only if you arrived on time) and with younger companies/vendors – Wow the lack of arrogance, sense of hunger and appreciation was extremely evident – Sometimes attendees are treated as they are lucky to be there – Not this one… refreshing!
After “squeeezing” into a seat across to room… What a find! … Only to look up and have a blocked view of the screen…had to show! All good, but funny!
Software is making incredible progress – and the use of AI is popular, but met with the importance of keeping data safe… there were a few save the world type of AI comments, but one interesting to us…. a Note Taker… More on this in the future…
Conferences regularly have options for headshots… so an indulgence was made…an outstanding result …
Thankfully this was taken at 7:30 am Dallas time, well before the 9 hours of meeting to meeting shoulder bumping with others….
Overall a productive trip… thanks for your patience if slow response was experienced last week …
