On a road trip last fall, the morning jog turned into more of a sky dive like landing on the cement in what seemed like a 100th of a second. With a towel in one hand and a water bottle in the other and literally talking on the phone through ear buds, an epiphany moment occurred after peeling myself off of the pavement.
The culprit
At the time of jogging across the shade was completely over the entire sidewalk and the beveled edge.
The only major problem immediately after the fall!
Yes, of course right before a scheduled meeting!!
Gauze applied for the meeting. Will leave you without the gory details, but ultimately it didn’t work in keeping the dress pants from absorbing.
Had heard of this feature, never knowingly or purposefully turned it on, but it shut my ear communications off to the phone call and would not let me go forward until I disabled it from trying to call for help. Certainly not looking at a gift horse in the mouth, this is what caused the epiphany. 
Frequently the – old first generation watch ran out of steam, much like we suggested here and here to update those machines and keep that technology up-to-date, in an epiphany moment thankful that the fall had not been worse, but had it been and the battery had been low or dead would’ve been a dull moment.
A newer younger model was purchased within 24 hours and certainly has many more features, updating that technology and a much longer battery life!
Oh, and for those that are wondering, being a really fast healer this picture taken from approximately the same angle was 24 hours later! 
So in a not do, as I say, not as I do format, the technology was updated, likely much safer, and hope for never such another fall!
