Over the last six days I have been in Orlando Florida joining the CFA Institute’s Annual Conference.
Being short on posts lately, we wanted to give you a heads up that due to a six day conference in Orlando as mentioned above, I have been out of town for the last six days. Returning late last night, safely, but in a bit of rain, I am excited to bring you great insights over the next few posts of many great money mangers, notable authors, and economists, that spoke and many of which I visited with personally.
Keep an eye out on our posts as we will bring you a blow by blow snapshot of many comments both for your information and our remembrance. On each post a shortened version of the speakers main topics will be brought to you along with a short bio and pertinent material.
Due to a much shortened week I will leave you with one interesting lunch time story to hopefully wet your appetite for near future post perusals.
On Tuesday of this week at lunch, the attendees at the table were from the following nationalities, two from Paris, one from Bulgaria, two from the UK, one from New Zealand, an Atlanta GA person, and myself from Dallas. As you might imagine the money management conversation was extremely interesting, and bodes well for such a trip as often times it is as important what people from other countries gleam,as from our own backyard.
