Market Comments – The boy that cried wolf? Nope! China Counters … Friday …..

Sometimes we hope that we are incorrect, but this time as mentioned here and again here in our video and one more time here, we are not surprised by Capital Markets drama …

In true, the “Boy that Cried Wolf” format, after on again off again comments, Capital Market Participants believed that off again would be likely. Nope! Post firmer increases in tariffs, market participants who had bid up assets before the actual announcement were splashed with cold water reality.

Fast forward to last night, counter tariffs were introduced by China, adding to the drama!

For those that watched the Monday video all the way to near the end, we hope that you enjoyed, you may have noticed a correction in frequently market participants over and undershoot to no most of the time they most always do. A timely thought for moments like this … oh and as noted here again, everything happens faster, which is great for pizzas and medical procedures, but not so great for Capital Markets, but it is a reality.

Today is a Friday, heading into a very early spring weekend and the temperatures are headed close to low 40s , enjoy your Friday and your weekend. Talk next week.
