AI heavy recap
Wow… so guys, thanks a bunch for taking in the last two posts… they were heavy… Mondays AI post was a total weekend gathering, as I look back on it … it was about 6 hours of creation, deep, heavy, but important…. and a super cool picture of the discovery IMHO.

Oil/Rates recap
Last Fridays post, normally a soft heading into the weekend note, was ANOTHER heavy… That post, Strange Bedfellows spelled out how Interest rates and Oil are really connected at the waist for the moment… Really hate to be correct on this, but it is what it is…
Oil has since jumped tugging rates along with it … Still goes both ways… But this puts huge pressures on Kevin Warsh to raise rates today!

Visual Capitalist to the rescue:
Surprised by the international spend… Know many of you have trips planned this and next month… this lines up with that

The table below lists each region’s total international visitor spending in 2025, along with its change from 2019 and 2024.
| Region | 2025 Int’l Visitor Spending ($B) | Change from 2024 (%) | Change from 2019 (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| North America | 235 | -3.3 | -17.8 |
| Central and South America | 65 | 3.4 | 8.6 |
| Caribbean | 50 | 2.5 | 21.5 |
| Europe | 835 | 1.3 | 2.3 |
| Middle East | 183 | 5.2 | 26.8 |
| Africa | 75 | 5.0 | 4.0 |
| Asia Pacific | 573 | 8.3 | 1.0 |

Lighter for you mid-week viewing… only a small bit of heavy… with a quick turnaround trip on the books today, thought this a great briefer!
Have a Great “International Travel Update” Day!
