So this is Warren Buffett long time founder and chief of Berkshire Hathaway an insurance company that uses the premiums to invest – cash and cash equivalents for the past 20 years broken down by quarterly reports.
Take a look above! Do you see an interesting build up of cash at times, only to shortly after see big drawdowns? Also take note of the most recent far right/most recent bar which was coincidentally released over the weekend.
Now lets overlay the SP 500 Index on top of Buffett’s cash builds and see if we can see any correlations? Thanks Rob of Koyfin for the great graphs…
Luck or fortuitous timing? Worth noting and with Buffett’s patience history not an alarm, but not a time to swing for the fences….
