Our favorite research provider – Hedgeye has a negative blip coming in July. This is in part due to comparable data. The key word is blip, if they are correct, this should be a much shorter term negative impact all other things being equal.
Tariff Reminder – Some due dates coming
The 90 day extension from April sunsets on July 9th (Reciprocal extension) and with comments of a likely extension, this date does fall just after a major National Holiday, July 4th and with many announcements running right up to the deadlines a very close to deadline push out of this extension would not be surprising.

With major international and domestic events, the uncertainty and news flow will certainly give pause. These events are VERY rapidly changing and without a doubt keeping everyone on edge.
Capital Markets Main Focus
For the record, there are usually always some type of event for Market Participants to worry about, but these are larger and more numerous.
All of the above are a lot, and certainly unnerving … but with regards to Capital Markets and their focus (rightly or wrongly) is always on Economic Growth the expansion or contraction of that growth.
