Thursday morning as the drop off for the 16 year old at school occurred, the regular morning 2 hour research call dropped on the cell- Hmmmm
After getting off the Wifi, an SOS was present on the Cell… our carrier was down and lucky me, the only one of the family to have disruption. While we constantly have to remind the afore mentioned 16 year old to stay off the phone, a lack of connectivity with the cell makes for a dicey day…at the time of writing this… still not clear what happened… came back up around noon…
Tax Forms Cometh – Finally – Corrected Clock Starts ticking
Corrected reminder – Just a heads up to wait until we get the first corrected 1099 for most… in a few cases it is ok to file and we have touched bases with those — but for most of us, hold off until we get the first round of corrected 1099’s!
Behind the scenes, our new platform sends us an “Activity” update notifying availability and ready for download… this week they came in waves (3 total) …. Most of you should be nearing the time for receipt of the whole enchilada 1099 Composite (1099 Misc TDA named) –
Remember, very likely you have two forms for each after tax account, with different numbers…make sure both make it to our tax return!
Logging into your Personal Vault will allow you access of all of your forms for both you and your spouse, AND for both of our Vendors…. Just in case you have trouble getting directly into your account view…. If you do not have a personal Vault credential… reach out.
Ahhh…. today is a warm Friday here in the south…as you read this, I am on a plane to repeat a trip that was thwarted about 5 weeks ago….. tease, tease…. more on this next week as the repairs are thankfully complete, pictures in hand, lesson learned, included in the Newsletter, and of course winding a financial planning theme into the experience……
