Tax Law Update AGAIN – First it was 300 then over 1000 Pages as of now 940 Pages

We use the prior months Video as our template for the new monthly video … Well…. While not a lot has changed since last month – its closer, Tax Laws that is…and great news, its been whacked a bit too… Hopefully that is Great News ….

Illustration of a smiling cartoon character wearing a hat with the word 'PATINENCE' on it, set against a warm orange background.

As of the writing of this post (Sunday AM June 29th) the Senate has sent the newly revised down, 940 page document to the House for Final approval – recall both have to agree on the same document and the Senate made changes, hence the page count difference….Back in the Houses court… Can we make the July 4th Goal Line?

Our trusted Washington contacts, have Medicaid, Salt, and Reconciliation ie budge as the biggies…

Net net, while this looks like additional debt in the form of budget excess, this is bad for the balance sheet, but good for the economy!

Bad Habits Reinforced

While we do not worry about you guys…. we do worry about others actions…. In this Bad Habits Reinforced post, we call attention to the Capital Markets very friendly, quick recoveries….

From the post:

…Sharp downturns in Capital Markets, followed by quick returns to normal, while awesome and we are happy they occur are not the norm … Bad Habits are being reinforced….”

Line graph depicting the S&P 500 index performance from 2024 to June 2025, showing fluctuations with a current value of 5,938.94.

What would worry is more? Words like “Its different this time!” Nah….. so far we have not heard this! But we are sure many are getting over their skis !

Capital Market Comments

Possible Hiccup –

Bear with us a second as we get heavy…. Here is what is likely going on with Capital Markets… most of this garnered from our premier research partner … oh…these thoughts first mentioned here in our Trifecta Hiccup Post!

Talk of a New FOMC President – (Federal Open Market Committee) aka head of the Fed – brought vocal takers for the position with stern visions/thoughts of much lower interest rates. This pushed bonds up/rates down (far right of graph below) and the US Dollar down … add a Quarter End and Month End Calendar along with Tax Law clarity of increased debt/more money into the Economy – all filtering through the Capital Markets….

Line graph displaying interest rates over time, comparing US 10-year and US 2-year bond yields from January 2024 to June 2025.

With an expected higher CPI – Consumer Price Index report mid July …. 90 day Tariff extension deadline July 9th -along with our research partner thinking an Economic hiccup (short term word purposely used for emphasis) it could be rocky for a bit!

Have a Great Day, Talk to You at the end of July from our Remote Work Location!
