Powell Pivot – FOMC Goes from raising to lowering rates
In an abrupt change of tone, the Jerome Powell leader of the FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) turned the language from raising to lowering…. This feeds into Mortgage rates, loan rates of all sorts and is a softening of the stance started in March of 2022!
