Having problems with my decimal place lately (some bad calcs on the new Donation .05% floor post – all fixed now) thought it worth a short note/update on the Government Shutdown calc –
Each day the Government is shutdown for this type is a .04% drag from the regular GDP trajectory … With a 2-3% normal trajectory, we are making some dents now!! Will be interesting to see if the Bond Markets take notice and lower Growth Expectations/Rates!

Next week may see more progress as the lack of paychecks spread dramatically to all parts of the Government…
Holiday Monday Sorta-
In a somewhat more confusing Holiday – Monday is a Government/Federal Holiday – Capital Markets/Stock/Equity Markets will be open, but the Bond Market is closed – Most banks are closed but some are not – Ok…got it! Not me… Plan on a sluggish Monday and stay away from moving money as it will likely not cooperate anyway !!
It’s fun to be on the road, but fun to be back… today I am back (arrived late last night, delayed grrrr), but hit the road again late next week… all good!
Today is a Friday – Enjoy your weekend and Talk next week!
