Tax Law Update – First it was 300 now it is over 1000 Pages and Counting
While really liking the AI created Patience Hatted smiling person — the wish was not to use it so much…haha
In our first post here we crowed about the 300+ page Tax Laws rules only to find out later from our Washington Correspondents it had ballooned to over 1000 + pages and counting – Likely something for everyone in this beast!
We have a growing list of you guys that are on wait and see mode … Could be a lot for everyone!
Rental Car Update and Laundry List of what is needed
Somewhat self serving – this is the second time a rental car has come into contact (resting safely in a parking spot) with another person… Thankfully, once again, this was covered by the Credit Card rental insurance, in this post on the subject – a complete list of what is needed – at least from this credit card insurance company

Mandates for the Credit Card Coverage – Careful yours may be different – These were mine!
Two pictures of the Rental Car – Had several but was focused more on the damaging car, so thankfully enough pictures – this was a close one
- Accident Report – Rental Car completed this upon return of the car
- Proof non other insurance coverage – not wanting to pay twice
- Demand Letter from the Rental Car Company – This is likely your easiest item – They want their funds!
- Initial and Final Rental Car Agreement – This received electronically after return
- Billing on the Credit Card i.e. Statement to show the charges were on the correct covered Credit Card
- Police Report – While this was required an affidavit saying this was on private property, no injuries (other than the car) was sufficient
- Personal Insurance Declaration pages – Hoping they did not call the carrier for this, as it was delivered to the Credit Card Insurance carrier
- Repair Estimates – This was in the Rental Car company demand letter –
Cyber – Watch the AI Use and Watch the Phishing/Spam Season
Combing two pertinent posts of similar subject matter – In this post we remind everyone as we see even easier access to AI usage (popping up everywhere) – giving AI confidential information is a No NO!
Secondly – In this post we remind all, don’t fall for the scams and give someone inadvertently…wait for it…yes, once again our confidential information!

We say farewell for an icon in the financial world…. a legend who by all counts has one of the best reputations from an integrity standpoint as well as investment skill (regularly NOT the case!) – Some of the cash build mystery may have been solved as well!
